The Dunkerque Seaways is a RoPax ferry that is currently owned and operated by the ferry company DFDS Seaways.
She was built in 2005 at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyards in South Korea for the former British ferry company Norfolkline, as the Maersk Dunkerque. She has operated on the route that links Dover with Calais since she was built. In 2010, Norfolkline's operations were taken over by the Danish ferry company DFDS Seaways. The Maersk Dunkerque was subsequently renamed as the Dunkerque Seaways, however she remained on the Dover-Calais route. She can cross the English Channel in a total of 1 hour 45 minutes.
Facilities onboard the Dunkerque Seaways include multiple restaurants and bars, Bureau de Change, shops, children's playroom, and three panoramic windows, located on either side of the ship and at the bow of the ship. The Dunkerque Seaways has two sister ships, the Dover Seaways and the Delft Seaways. She has the ability to accommodate 850 people (70 crew members) and provides nearly 2,000 lanemetres. Her current port of registry is Dover, United Kingdom.
