The Madeleine

The Madeleine is a roro cruiseferry that is currently owned and operated by the French-Canadian ferry company C.T.M.A. She was built in 1981 at the Verolme Cork Dockyards in Ireland as the Leinster for the British and Irish Steam Packet Company (B&I Line) where she was placed on the Pembroke-Rosslare route.

She was renamed as the Isle of Inishmore in 1993 and was sold to Irish Ferries in 1995. She was later renamed as the Isle of Inishturk, when her successor was launched. She was replaced by the Isle of Innisfree on the Pembroke-Rosslare route. She was

immediately sold in 1997 to C.T.M.A. where she was renamed as the Madeleine and was placed on the route that links Cap-aux-Meules with Sauris. She has one sister ship, the Dubrovnik. Her current port of registry is St John's, Canada.
