The ARV 2 is a ferry that was formerly owned by the ferry company Irish Ferries. She is the sister ship of the Stena Europe of Stena Line. She was built in 1981 as the Prinsessan Birgitta for Sessan Line but was renamed the Normandy for Irish Ferries in 1997. She used to
sail on the Rosslare-Roscoff and Rosslare-Cherbourg routes until the MS Oscar Wilde replaced her. She was then bought by the Singapore-based oil service company, Equinox Offshore Accomodation on 28 January 2008. She is now awaiting conversion in Singapore.
