The Queen of Burnaby

The Queen of Burbany is a Burbany Class ferry owned and operated by BC Ferries. She is the last of two Burnaby Class ferries built for the company. She was built in 1965 by Victoria Machinery Depot, Victoria, British Columbia. In 1994, she was transferred to Victoria Line and was renamed as the Royal Victorian and was put on the route linking Victoria with Seattle. In 1997, she was leased to Clipper Navigation due to Victoria Line losing money. She was renamed again, this time to Princess Marguerite III. In 2000, she was sold back to BC Ferries. In 2001, she re-entered service on the route linking Comox with Powell River. She has a sister ship, the Queen of Nanaimo. Her port of registry is Victoria, British Columbia.
