The Queen of Surrey
The Queen of Surrey is a C Class ferry that is owned by the ferry company BC Ferries. She currently operates on the Horseshoe Bay-Langdale route. She has four other sister ships, the Queen of Oak Bay, the Queen of Coquitlam, the Queen of Cowichan and the Queen of Alberni. She was built in 1979 by Burrard Yarrows Corporation and waslaunched the next year. In 2003, the Queen of Surrey was withdrawn from service temporarily due to a fire in the engine room. In 2006, she underwent a $40 million refit
