The Majesty of the Seas
The Majesty of the Seas is a large cruise ship that is currently owned and operated by Royal Caribbean International. She was built in 1992 by Chantiers de l'Atlantique, France for the company. Her maiden voyage was on April 4th 1992. The vessel underwent a refit in 2007, refurbishing pools, passenger areas and also adding extra cabins and multiple restaurants. Features onboard the vessel include an onboard casino, two swimming pools, hot tubs, a climbing wall and a basketball court. The Majesty of the Seas has the ability to accommodate 2,750 passengers amd 830 crew members. Her current port of registry is Nassau, the Bahamas. In 2005, a 1/8 scale model of the Majesty of the Seas was launched in Paris. It was constructed by a man named François Zanella. It took him 11 years to complete the model, construction commencing in 1994. The vessel acts as a barge and travels around canals located in Paris and is named the 'Mini Majesty of the Seas'
