The European Endeavour is a multi purpose roro ferry that is currently owned and operated by the British ferry company P&O Ferries. She was built in 2000 by Astilleros Espanoles SA, Spain as the Midnight Merchant and entered service for Norfolkline. In 2006, the ferry was acquired by Acciona Transmediterranea and was renamed as the El Greco. In 2007, she was sold to P&O Ferries where she began services on the Irish Sea. In 2010, she was chartered to DFDS, but retained her name. Later that year, she was given back to P&O Ferries and she resumed services between Liverpool and Dublin. She has three sister ships, the Norman Trader, the Norman Bridge and the Zurbaran. Her current port of registry is Nassau, the Bahamas.
