Rosslare-Cherbourg routes. The Oscar Wilde was built for Jahre Line in 1986 as the MS Kronprins Harald. She was bought by Color Line in 1990, but kept the same name. In 2007, she was bought by Irish Ferries and renamed the Oscar Wilde where she replaced the Normandy on the routes that link Rosslare with Cherbourg and Roscoff. She is unique in the fleet because her hull is painted blue with a white funnel, whereas the traditional colours of Irish Ferries are a white hull with a green funnel. She is named after the Irish author, Oscar Wilde. She has no sister ships. The Oscar Wilde's current port of registry is in Nassau, The Bahamas.
