The Stena Europe is a roro passenger cruiseferry that is currently owned and operated by Stena Line. She formerly shared the route with the Stena Lynx III, a high speed catamaran that only operated during the summer months, which was sold in 2011. She was built in 1981 by Götaverken in Sweden as the Kronprinsessan Victoria for Sessan Line. She was sold in 1988 to Stena Line where she was renamed as the Stena Saga. She was again renamed in 1994 as the Stena Europe, before being chartered to Lion Ferry as the Lion Europe in 1997. She returned to Stena Line the following year and was renamed back to Stena Europe. The Stena Europe formerly shared the Rosslare terminal with her sister ship, the Normandy, which at the time was owned by Irish Ferries and sailed from Ireland to France. Her current port of registry is Fishguard, United Kingdom.
