The Stena Lagan is a multi purpose roro ferry that is currently owned by Levantina Trasporti Srl and operated by the ferry company Stena Line. She currently operates on the route that links Birkenhead with Belfast. She was built in 2005 by Cantiere Navale Visentini as the Lagan Viking for Norse Merchant Ferries, a subsidary of Norfolkline. In 2010, she was renamed Lagan Seaways when DFDS Seaways acquired Norfolkline. The following year, she was chartered to Stena Line where she was renamed as the Stena Lagan. She has the ability to accommodate 975 passengers and can carry 170 vehicles. She also provides 2,885 lanemetres. The Stena Lagan has three sister ships, the Stena Mersey, the Celtic Horizon and the Cartour Gamma. Her current port of registry is Belfast, United Kingdom.
