The Stena Nordica, 2009

The Stena Nordica is a ropax ferry that is currently owned and operated by the ferry company Stena Line. She was built in 2000 bu Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as the European Ambassador for P&O Irish Sea and entered service on the Liverpool-Dublin route and soon after, the new service between Mostyn and Dublin. The route didn't last long and the European Ambassador was sold to Stena Line in 2004. She was renamed as the Stena Nordica and entered service on the route linking Karlskrona with Gdynia, but was transferred to the route that links Holyhead with Dublin in 2008. She has no sister ships, but bears resemblance to P&O's European Highlander and the European Causeway. Her current port of registry is London, UK
