The Stena Scandinavica is a roro cruiseferry that is owned and operated by the ferry company Stena Line. She was built in 2003 by Hyundai Heavy Industries as the Stena Britannica II for the company where she was placed on the route linking Gothenburg with Kiel. Later that year, she was renamed as the Stena Britannica. She has a sister ship, the Stena Adventurer, which currently runs on the route linking Holyhead with Dublin. In 2011, she was again renamed as the Stena Scandinavica IV and later Stena Scandinavica, due to the fact that two brand new ships, the Stena Hollandica and the Stena Britannica were introduced in 2010.
