The Stena Transporter is the first of two brand new multi purpose roro ferries that are currently owned and operated by the ferry company, Stena Line. She was built in 2011 at the Samsung Yards in South Korea for the Stena subsidary Stena RoRo Ab and was placed on the route that links Killingholme with Hoek van Holland. She has a younger sister ship, the Stena Transit, which is due to be completed in October 2011. She has the ability to accommodate 300 passengers. She is 210 metres long and has a breadth of 27 metres. Her current port of registry is Hoek van Holland, The Netherlands.
