The Argyle is a ferry that is currently owned and operated by the Scottish ferry company Caledonian MacBrayne. She was built in 2006 by Remontowa in Poland for the company where she was christened and entered service on the route that links Wemyss Bay with Rothesay. She is the seventh ship in the fleet to adopt the name Argyle, but the one before her was in service over a century ago. The Argyle has an older sister ship, the Bute, which was built a year before the Argyle. She has a single, semi-open car deck, two indoor passenger lounges, a kiosk and an outer deck. She can accommodate 450 passengers and carry 66 cars. Her current port of registry is Glasgow, UK.
