The Cenred was a roro ferry that was owned by the ferry company Wightlink. She was part of the former 'C Class' vessels that were replaced by the new 'Wight Class' ferries. She was built in 1973 by Robb Caledon Shipbuilders Ltd in Scotland for the former ferry company Sealink. The Cenred had two other sister ships, the Cenwulf and the Caedmon. She operated on the Lymington-Yarmouth route. She sailed for the final time when she was forced out of retirement because her successor's hydraulic ramp broke down. She was broken up in May 2010 after leaving service in March 2009. Her port of registry was Portsmouth, United Kingdom.
