The Queen of Chilliwack

The Queen of Chilliwack is a ferry owned and operated by the Canadian ferry company, BC Ferries. She was built as an icebreaker ferry in 1978 by Framnæs Mekaniske Værksted as the Bastø I for Bastø Fosen. She was then sold in 1991 to BC Ferries where she was renamed as the Queen of Chilliwack, after the town in British Columbia. In the winter, she operates on the route linking Earls Cove with Saltery Bay and in the summer, operates through the discovery coast passage.
