Sealion 2000

MV Sealion 2000 is a steelhulled catamaran operated in Australia from Cape Jervis, South Australia, to Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island, by SeaLink Travel Group. The trip takes approximately 45 minutes. She has a capacity for 354 passengers and 60 cars.

SeaLion 2000 was custom designed for SeaLink services, and built in 1998 by Tenix Shipbuilding, Fremantle, Western Australia. She is 49.9 m long, and powered by two 1078 kW Caterpillar diesels engines, has an operating speed of 16 knots.
