MV Straitsman is a roll on/roll off interisland ferry that operates between Wellington, North Island and Picton, South Island, New Zealand. She has been in service in New Zealand since December 2010. Prior to joining Strait Shipping as a Bluebridge ferry, MV Straitsman was named the MV Dueodde, which connected the Island of Bornholm with the Danish mainland. The ship was renamed MV Straitsman in recognition of Strait Shipping's first vessel, a frieght carrier, which was in service for eleven years between 1992 and 2004. MV Straitsman was manufactured at Volharding Shipyard in the Netherlands during 2005.
