The Wight Light

The Wight Light is a new roro ferry that is owned by the ferry company Wightlink. She operates on the Lymington-Yarmouth route. She is part of the new 'Wight Class' ferries which replaced the earlier 'C Class' ferries. She has two sister ships, the Wight Sky and the Wight Sun. She has been in service since February 2009. She was briefly taken out of service in March 2009, because of a problem with her hydraulic ramp. Her predecessor, the Cenred, replaced her whilst the ramp was being repaired. Her current port of registry is London, United Kingdom.
