The port is operated by Stena Line. Both ferries from Stena Line and Irish Ferries run cruise and high speed services to and from Dublin Port and Dún Laoghaire, both in the Republic of Ireland. The port is home to some notable ferries. The Ulysses of Irish Ferries is the largest car ferry in the world, and the Stena Explorer of Stena Line is one of the largest catamaran ferries in the world. The ferries themselves dock at an artificial island called Salt Island, which is linked to the mainland. The ferries that operate here are:

Stena Line: Stena Adventurer & Stena Explorer

Irish Ferries: Ulysses & Jonathan Swift
